UPDATE AND BACKUP GUIDE

BEFORE EVERY UPDATE
1. Open the ADWORKS dashboard on the device containing your saved records.
2. Select Export Backup.
3. Confirm that a timestamped ADWORKS_STARTER_Backup JSON file downloaded.
4. Keep one copy on the device and one private recovery copy elsewhere.
5. Save important client proposals as PDF before updating.

UPDATE THE INSTALLED APP
1. Connect to the internet and open the official ADWORKS HTTPS link.
2. Close other ADWORKS tabs/windows, then refresh the official page once.
3. Confirm the new version in Offline, Backup & Diagnostics.
4. Tap Prepare Offline and wait for Offline ready.
5. Reopen the installed app and test it in Airplane Mode.

RESTORE ON A NEW OR RESET PHONE
1. Open the official HTTPS link in Chrome or Safari.
2. Install/Add to Home Screen and tap Prepare Offline.
3. Select Restore Backup and choose the latest ADWORKS JSON file.
4. Confirm the restore, allow the page to reload, and verify settings/projects.

CLOUDFLARE SELLER UPDATE
1. Keep the previous working deployment and ZIP as a rollback copy.
2. Upload the complete new package contents, not an inner partial folder.
3. Confirm index.html, service-worker.js, manifest, icons, guides and bonus
   folders are at the expected paths.
4. Visit the production HTTPS link and confirm the new version.
5. Test calculator, quotation/PDF, Prepare Offline, install and Airplane Mode.
6. Only then announce the update to buyers through Gumroad.

DATA SAFETY
- Data stays in local browser storage unless exported, printed or shared.
- Do not clear browser/site data before exporting a backup.
- Do not share backups publicly; they may contain client or business details.
- A public Cloudflare link can be forwarded. Gumroad purchase records and the
  license terms help manage authorized use but are not automatic copy protection.
